This sausage sandwich is probably the simplest and quickest recipe you will ever see on Read My Chicken Scratch. It’s also one of the tastiest! When you need a fast and easy breakfast, this is definitely #TheWrightBreakfast for you and your family.
Back when J-Bear was just a baby, my friend Naomi first made this awesome sausage biscuit for me. I was immediately in love, and started making them for my family, brunch events, basically anytime that sausage was at all appropriate.
J-Bear was just a toddler, and when I told him that it was made with muenster cheese, he named them “Monster Sandwiches”. They are so simple to make. All you really have to do is pop the biscuits in to bake while you’re browning the sausage patties.
And when it’s all done, layer everything together.
Mmm – they look ready to me!

- Assemble sandwiches with one sausage patty and one slice muenster.

- Serve warm.
I was so happy to find Wright Brand Sausage Patties at my local Sam’s Club. They make this recipe even faster and easier. I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time remembering to set my sausage out to thaw before I need it. Then it takes lots of elbow grease (and a few bent teeth on my favorite knife) to slice it. But Wright layers their presliced sausage patties between sheets of plastic, so that they are ready to use anytime I’m in the mood for them.
These biscuits are a great quick breakfast that you can make fresh in about 15 minutes. Even better, you can freeze or refrigerate the leftovers for an even quicker breakfast on busy mornings. I just heat thawed sandwiches for about 30 seconds in the microwave (adjust time for your microwave). It doesn’t get any faster than that! If I know that I’m making these to reheat, I often use a biscuit cutter to cut the cheese into a circle. It makes them a little less messy and more portable.
There will be a demo of the new Wright Brand Sausage Patties and Links at select Sam’s Club locations on January 31st and February 6th and 7th. You can come taste for yourself and then buy a pack to make your own Monster Sandwiches. You can also follow Wright on Twitter or Facebook for more information about this and other new products.
