Christmas is coming soon! It’s getting closer every day. And I’m running out of time to get all the homemade gifts ready. I found a great resource the other day, and I think you’ll like it too. It’s the Land O’ Lakes Holiday Gift brochure online. It has lots of great ideas for giftable holiday baking and treats.
I decided to make a treat that didn’t even require baking. I chose the Peanut Butter Pretzel Dips. Dipped pretzels are always on my list of things to make for Christmas, and this looked like a great twist on our old favorite. First I had to pop into my local Walmart for some key ingredients.
The recipe suggested that you could substitute pretzels for the crisps, so I decided to make some of my Pretzel Dips with Snyder’s Snaps. They’re my favorite pretzels and I always have some on hand. They made a cute little bite sized version. I chose some fun colored and shimmery sprinkles, but also tried sprinkling some with toffee chips. Those were definitely a favorite at my house. Every way I made them, they were cute and yummy.
For small gifts, I wrapped them in cute little paper bags. For larger batches I used these great snowman jars that I found at Walmart. All the bags and jars got tied with a festive bow.
Here are the sweet little gift tags I used. If you click the pic, you’ll get a PDF version (minus the “RMCS.com” watermark) with 3 of each tag for your own gifts.
Here’s a little video that shows the whole process, beginning to end.
And now here’s a little extra fun for you!
